Q WHAT DOES FORMAL GRANT (FG) MEAN?
A A Formal Grant is the final homeloan approval detailing the terms and conditions of a homeloan facility granted. The bank may however withdraw a formal grant at its discretion, usually subject to a change in the customer's credit position.

Q WHAT IS AN APPROVAL IN PRINCIPAL (AIP)?
A This is an initial bank approval subject to property valuation or other suspensive conditions that must be met before a homeloan is formally granted.

Q WHEN IS A HOMELOAN CLASSIFIED AS NOT TAKEN UP (NTU)?
A NTU this applies to transactions that have been formally granted by a bank and are then withdrawn by an originator or the customer. This may due to the customer no longer proceeding with the purchase or with the facility granted. NTUs may also result in better terms being obtained from another bank and accepted by the customer or the originator.

Q WHAT IS A BOND WITHDRAWAL?
A This applies to a transaction being cancelled for the same reasons as detailed for NTU but applies where the bond is withdrawn prior to formal grant.

Q WHAT IS CPC?
A The BondPlus Online Central Processing Centre.

Q WHAT SYSTEMS DOES BONDPLUS USE TO UPLOAD ITS TRANSACTION
A Bondplus has been using ebond since the 2004. eBond is a web based system and can be accessed from any part of the world at anytime.

Q WHY DO CLAW BACKS OCCUR?
A A claw back results when BondPlus Online has paid out on a deal but has not received payment on that deal. There are various reasons for this. Please refer to the Registrations and Payments Policy.

Q HOW DO I FIND OUT WHO MY DEDICATED HELPDESK CONSULTANT IS FOR CPC PROCESSING?
